A Blast is a totally optional way to make a little noise on Yubo. It lets you send a message or Reaction to a group of users who match your preferences (like age, gender, or location). Think of it as throwing a “hey there” to a few dozen people at once instead of one at a time.
For senders:
You can buy Blasts with YuBucks, and we sometimes include them as freebies in special offers. To make the best impression, you should customize your message to make it funny, warm or unique (and of course conforming to our Community Guidelines). We can even suggest a few icebreakers if you’re feeling stuck. Also, you’ll only see who got your Blast if they reply — recipients are always in control, and replying means they consent to engage. And since responses can come in anytime, don’t be surprised if someone hits you back days later.
For recipients:
Blasts show up in your Chat tab as a message or Reaction to one of your photos. There’s no pressure to reply — it's your choice, and you only engage if you consent. If you ignore it, it'll just sit quietly in your Chat tab. The sender won’t know you saw it, and you won’t be charged for leaving it there.
If you do want to see who sent it and start chatting, you’ll need to unlock their profile with a Paid Pack. Paid features like this allow us to offer a great experience for all our users and keeps our team doing what we do best.
Blast senders are real people, but remember: You received this Blast because you match the sender’s preference settings, not because they picked you individually. The sender won't see your profile unless you unlock and reply — and even then, whether the chat continues is up to both of you.
