Having trouble with swipes or finding friends? Here are some answers to common questions.
Can I see who swiped right on me?
Yep. Subscribe to the Power Pack and you’ll be able to see and unlock everyone who’s swiped right on you.
Why am I getting people from other areas?
Check your settings under Profile > Settings > Manage Swipe > Location.
You can choose My Country First, My Country Only, or Worldwide.
If you’re still seeing people from farther away, make sure:
- Geolocation is turned on for Yubo.
- Your swipe distance slider is set where you want it. If there aren’t enough users nearby, sometimes the app widens your range automatically so you can still meet people.
Why am I seeing people outside my gender preference?
You can set your preferred gender under Profile > Settings > Manage Swipe > Preferred Gender. Regardless of your chosen gender, people of other genders will still show up in your swipes, since Yubo’s about making friends, not filtering people out.
Think your swipes are broken?
Try these quick fixes:
- Complete your profile (natural photos, tags, bio, etc.)
- Get verified for more visibility and trust.
- Expand your location range to find more people.
No more profiles to swipe?
That’s rare, but if it happens you can:
- Check if Lives are showing up in your Live tab.
- Make sure your geolocation is on.
- Try widening your swipe range.
