Sometimes verification doesn’t go through on the first try — hey, it happens. Most of the time, it’s something simple: the ID didn’t match your profile, the photo was too dark or cropped, or the document type wasn’t accepted in your country.
Other times, it’s because your ID looked edited, blurry or didn’t show up completely in the photo (we’ve got to see all four of those corners).
It could also just be because your profile didn’t have a clear photo that we could match to your face as it appeared on the ID your shared.
Either way, it’s usually fixable with another try and these tips in mind. Once you resubmit your verification in the app, our team usually reviews new requests within 24 hours, so you can put all this photo business behind you and join us in the app!
