If you haven’t already heard, Pixels are collections of character portraits that reflect the culture, style, and attitude of the people on Yubo. Some users send them as gifts to their friends, favorite streamer, or someone they’d like to get to know. Pixels are the cool and creative way to say: Yo!, LOL, whaaaa? huzzah!, OMG, and more. Others try to collect every single character, kind of like Pokémon.
We’ve already released three collections and are currently designing additional ones. Since the first launch, we’ve realized that some characters were so missed by our users that we had to bring them back. We’ve redesigned the carousel into separate sections: one for the most recently released Pixel collection and another for the most popular Pixels from previous collections. There are so many ideas about what direction to take this feature, so stay tuned to see how we decide to make Pixels even more engaging.
