Trouble joining, hearing or seeing Live sessions? Don’t worry — most issues have quick fixes. Just pick your issue below:
I can’t join any live streams
Here are the most common culprits:
- You’re currently on a phone call (including WhatsApp or similar apps). You can’t join a Live while on a call.
- Your internet connection might be weak or unstable.
- You’re using a VPN, firewall, or special router setup — these can block live connections. Try turning them off while using Yubo.
I don’t have any sound in live streams
If you can’t hear anything, try these:
- Make sure your phone isn’t on silent mode and your volume is turned up.
- Check if you have sound in other apps — this helps you tell whether it’s Yubo or your device.
- Try restarting your phone — that often does the trick.

I don’t see any Lives
Wherever you are, you should always see at least a few Lives in your feed. If not, it could be a temporary issue on our end. If you don’t see any alerts from us, try this:
- Check your Swipes. If Swipes aren’t working either, it’s likely a temporary glitch we’re already fixing.
- Enable location services. Yubo uses your geolocation to find nearby Lives.
- Let us know. If none of that helps, contact us in the app and we’ll troubleshoot it with you.
